Voiceware’s TTS (Text-To-Speech) engine “VoiceText” has been designated as an Excellent Quality Products by Public Procurement Service on June 13th.
* What is the Excellent Quality Products System by the Public Procurement Service of the Republic of Korea (PPS)?
Since 1996, the PPS has been operating Registration Windows for Excellent Quality Products in seventeen locations including the PPS headquarters, Central Supply Base, and other regional bases to provide support to prominent small- and medium-sized companies and venture companies having difficulty in supplying their products to government institutions. The Excellent Quality Products System refers to the designation of Excellent Quality products in the areas of KT, NT, EM, IT, GR, GQ, electric technologies, construction technologies, and patent through a rigorous procedure of evaluation and assessment.
Once a product is designated as a Excellent Quality Product, the PPS makes contract with the manufacturing company, which included the registration as the government-supply product and the annual contract price. Afterwards, the PPS makes intensive advertisement and promotion activities and opens the path for supplying the product to various government bodies and public institutions, supporting the sales of the product designated as a Excellent Quality Product.
VoiceText has received KT Mark and IR-52 award in 2001, also selected as worldwide first-class product in 2002, this certification will be helpful for Voiceware’s sales activities for governmental, public offices in the future.
