Aug. 28, 2000 – Voiceware, the Korean speech technology leader, added new male voice, "SukWon" to VoiceText, Voiceware’s high-quality text-to-speech engine.
This new male voice was implemented with Voiceware’s female voice in weather service of Korea Meteorological Administration. To use this system, just dial 131 without any area code.
With this new voice addition, Voiceware has equipped three voices - two female voices (Juhee, Mina) and a male voices (SukWon). Voiceware will continuously add new voices to cope with diverse customers' demands.
