Aug. 28, 2000 – Voiceware, the Korean speech technology leader, added new male voice, "SukWon" to VoiceText, Voiceware¡¯s high-quality text-to-speech engine.
This new male voice was implemented with Voiceware¡¯s female voice in weather service of Korea Meteorological Administration. To use this system, just dial 131 without any area code.
With this new voice addition, Voiceware has equipped three voices - two female voices (Juhee, Mina) and a male voices (SukWon). Voiceware will continuously add new voices to cope with diverse customers' demands.
