Aug. 16, 2001 - Voiceware announces today it supplies VoiceEz 2.0, Speech Recognition engine to Onse Telecom, a Koreas leading telecom service provider, for VAD(Voice Activated Dialing) service. VAD is the system that callers can be reached to the wanted person simply saying his/her name.
Onse has supplied Long Distance Virtual Private Network Service, which is a long distance phone service for corporations without the means of constructing an independent private network, and corporations whose quantities of calls between branch offices do not reach the organization of long distance private network. In addition, Long Distance Virtual Private Network Service allows clients to utilize the Onse-Direct network, PSTN, Onse ISDN network, and global intelligence network for convenience as though they had constructed their own virtual networks.
Onse is to add the VAD service to this Long Distance Virtual Private Network Service supplied to their customers. It is the first of its kind in Korean speech technology market.
